Society is perpetually in motion and often we find ourselves questioning what is real and what is artificial. For the Christian, we believe that there is a constant standard we can rely upon for the correct answers: Jesus Christ and His Holy Bible. Isaiah 40:8 states that the Word of God will stand forever; and in Hebrews 13:8 it reads, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
Michael Faraday, the famous chemist and physicist once said, “The Bible, and it alone, with nothing added to it nor taken away from it by man, is the sole and sufficient guide for each individual, at all times and in all circumstances.”
At Graniteville First Baptist we endeavor to govern our lives by God’s Word, using it to direct us through the journey of life. We read and study the Bible to gain insight for each step taken. It provides encouragement, support, instruction and when needed, correction for our success.
