Rev. Jon Nichols
Pastor Jon began his journey at Graniteville First Baptist on Easter morning in 2026. However, his relationship with Christ began at the early age of five, when he asked Jesus to come into his life. Surrendering to full-time Christian ministry as a teenager, he went to Pensacola Christian College to prepare for ministry. While there he met his wife, Tammy. Together they have served in ministries for 34 years in Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. Pastor Jon and Tammy have lived in Graniteville for the last 24 years.
They have two wonderful children, Jason, married to Aili, living in Massachusetts, and Kaylee, who is serving our country in the Coast Guard.
Jon likes college football, hunting, fishing, motorcycling, kayaking, and BBQ grilling. He also enjoys studying and researching our past and current cultural norms regarding biblical doctrines and the climate of the local church, word studies in Scripture, listening to many forms of music, and spending time with his family.

Julie Harris
Julie began serving as Secretary of Graniteville First Baptist on Monday, June 20, 2016. Julie is married to Ken Harris and they have two married daughters and three grandchildren. Julie is a member of Town Creek Baptist Church in Aiken, SC. However, her family connection to our Church goes back a long way with relatives who faithfully served here.
We are so fortunate to have someone like Julie who is willing to serve and we thank God that she was willing to accept this task upon Kathy Friday's retirement.
